Châtel-St-Denis “Bénichon”, 15th-17th Oktober 2010
The "Bénichon" of Châtel-St-Denis is a traditional popular and gastronomical festival that commemorates the end of the harvest, the way down to the plain of the cows and the begin of the winter time.
Program :
Friday : "Grizzli Bar" from 9 pm
Saturday : Craft market in the main street from 9 am to 4 pm.
Sunday : Dance of the local counsellors at 11 am and big procession at 3 pm.
During the week-end : Funfair on the Grand Clos place, Bénichon menus in the restaurants and bar.
The prizes are generously offered by the Bénichon steering committee.
