The "Lac des Joncs"

The "Lac des Joncs", situated above Les Paccots, is a very deep mountain lake and is more than 5000 years old.

This lake is protected and registered in the national inventory of batrachians reproduction sites. Several rare and endangered vegetal and animal species live in this protected area. The lake is home to various plant species and rare and endangered animals such as pyg my water lily, the leaf rosoli round, comaret, smart weed or the common toad.

A wood shaving covered path leads along the lake and educational boards inform you on the specificity of this natural site. Two giant board games invite you for amusing games !
