Piste de Le Crêt
A circular route for a quiet and peaceful walk through the countryside above the village of Le Crêt, with a magnificent view over the Alps and Pre-Alps.
The route begins behind the restaurant La Croix Fédérale in the village of Le Crêt, which is centrally located between Châtel-St-Denis, Bulle, Oron and Romont. It gets off to a gentle start on a short bend, against a backdrop of the view over the village, nestled around its imposing church, with the magnificent heights of the Pre-Alps in the background.
Next, the route winds through farmland as far as Le Basset and then slopes down towards Champey. The next stage is slightly more undulating, running alongside the forest in a relaxing setting that inspires positive thoughts. A final climb back to the starting point provides a test of your physical abilities and brings you back to a superb panoramic view stretching from the Savoyard mountains to the Bernese Alps.
2 km of the track are enlightened and allow to practice in the evening.
The family atmosphere of the restaurant La Croix Fédérale is the perfect place to reward your efforts and revive your spirits.
